OE Weekly Schedule
Whether you choose to do one or a few of our outdoor group fitness classes each week, you belong as part of the team. We’re all about building fitness together as part of a group.
We do Pure Strength on Mondays, Strength & Cardio on Wednesdays, and Team-Based Cardio & Bodyweight Fitness on Saturdays.
Coffee catch-ups are as consistent as the training. Come and join us for a coffee on a Wednesday or Saturday after the session, and you’ll see how welcome you really are.
SESSION DESCRIPTIONS:
If you come to all 3 sessions each week, you get a full-body training routine that covers all your fitness bases.
PURE STRENGTH
These sessions are designed to build muscle through purposeful, slow and controlled reps of focused weight-training exercises using kettlebells.
Your OE trainer will provide technique enhancements so you get the out of each exercise.
STRENGTH & CARDIO TRAINING
This sets us apart from traditional gym sessions. Not only are we training on the soft, forgiving terrain of Vellenoweth Green, opposite the beach, but our sessions also consistently mix cardio and strength.
You can expect 15-20 reps of a particular exercise, perhaps three exercises that work a similar muscle group, then team-based speed running at about 70-80% of your sprint pace. Ranging from shorter distances that require agility and core stability to longer ones, where we focus on the technique and drive phase of a fast run.
TEAM BASED CARDIO & BODYWEIGHT FITNESS
In this session, you’re training your cardiovascular system. Over 12 weeks, we deliver a periodised programme that organically transitions between speedwork, power, strength, and endurance, so you become the well-rounded athlete you deserve, and can enjoy a range of activities with your fit body.
The session is 45 minutes, and within this time, you’ll work through a variety of short sets that keep the training varied and collaborative. We puff and laugh the whole way, and it’s an amazing achievement to top off the week.
