The One Element Workout.

45 minutes of high-intensity fitness training.

Commit to the process and after 6-8 weeks you will be able to push the distance on your weekly runs, sprint after that bus or child, climb those Auckland hills, and dodge your obstacles with control.

WARM UP

Starting off gently whilst building in intensity you’ll activate specific muscles for engagement.

TIP!
Listen to your body, connect your mind to your muscles. You work to your own limits and your tempo is set in this moment.

SET 1

Spiced up versions of cardio training to keep things varied but primarily to train your different functions of fitness, e.g. endurance, speed and power.

TIP!
Start off leaving a little left in the tank and gauge how the different sets feel, you will have plenty of opportunities to push for progression.

SET 2

Strength sets and challenges that give you a much desired burn, afterglow and form the bedrock of your fitness gains.

TIP!
The slower the better, focus on technique here and your reps will increase by themselves over the weeks.

SET 3

Expect to love this stage as the brain starts to process what you’ve achieved and the core and stability work serves as self-care. A mixture of isometrics through to rotational work, this set keeps your core strong and effective – important in all functions of fitness.

COOL DOWN

You’ve made it to the end and you’ll want to thank those muscles, your willpower and your friends for helping you give back to that body of yours!

Weekly Schedule

We are currently running four workouts per week, with the aim to increase this as we take on more members and recruit more trainers! Workouts are run in rain, shine, or even snow.
